Motivated by its recent domination, the Little League Rockies of Ottawa, Ill., a group of 11 and 12-year-old ball players recently clinched their third consecutive City Tournament championship.
The Rockies went 25-0 during their title run in 2011 and are winners of 53 straight games, capping this season with a 12-2 championship-clinching win against the upset-minded Astros.
I know, it’s random, but I’m still hoping to catch-up on what I haven’t been producing.
As we speak, I’m probably at the Little League championship game. So, we’ll see those photos soon.
Hopefully, before 2012.
Another day, another batch of round-up photos.
And you didn’t think I was serious when I said I had a lot of content to catch up on.
Another day of digging produces the largest photo round-up in this blog’s short history.
(On a sidenote: I’m really liking this slideshow feature on WordPress. Sure as heck beats manually uploading each photo. And everyone loves slideshows. At least, that’s what I’ve been told by people in a higher salary bracket than yours truly.)

Until further notice, I’ll just be digging in my recent archives until we’re all caught up.
Hope you like it.

Lightning is flashing out my window with thunder booming overhead.
No better time to share my rainy day playlist with anyone who might be up late enjoying the storms with me.

As a sports writer, they can give you a breather during a hectic spring.
On a Sunday morning, a light rain is the perfect excuse to buy you a few extra hours of sleep.
In any case, every occasion needs a soundtrack — right?
After the jump, I’ll share mine. Continue reading
I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted my work consistently, and for that, I apologize.
The good news is that I have a ton of photos to unload from the vault. So, you have that to look forward to in the coming days, weeks and months.
However, I’d like to share some of my most recent photos — from various Little League games I covered last week.
I hope you enjoy ’em.
